In everyday life Andy Bruce is trombonist in the Willem Breuker Kollektief, but when the moon is bright he puts on his kilt and calls together the Rigidly Righteous: a motley crew, featuring the likes of Hermine Deurloo (chromatic harmonica), Martin Fondse on keyboards and percussionist Alan Purves. Inspired by early Scottish composers like Robert Carver, James Oswald and Robert Burns, the Rigidly Righteous produce a unique and colourful sound, partly due to the unusual line-up. Be prepared for a Scottish party in Hans's barn.
