Saxophonist Esmée Olthuis operates from the Amsterdam Trytone collective. She has her own quartet, plays in the Tetzepi Bigtet and has a duo with pianist Albert van Veenendaal. In Brassed Off she shows another side of herself. This all female mini brass band pimps up well-known hits. Soul, pop, funk or salsa, they work it all like magic.
