Since time immemorial bassist Arnold Dooyeweerd has been the driving force behind the weekly workshops at the Amsterdam Bimhuis. The workshop leader has seen many new talents coming and going. His trio with tenor saxophonist Jasper Blom is one for advanced listeners. Blom is very successful with his own quartet featuring guitarist Jesse van Ruller and often plays with pianist Harmen Fraanje. With the agile Michael Vatcher this trio is very flexible. A clear field for instant improvisation.
