This Brussels trio makes wonderful music. The unusual combination of trombone/tuba with accordion and cello seems very suitable as a soundtrack for a filmed landscape. Accordionist Tuur Florizoone is the new star on the Belgian jazz firmament, and excells in his own Tricycle Trio. Cellist Marine Horbaczewski is active in both classical and improvised music. Brass specialist Michel Massot opened last year's SummerJazzCycleTour's Prologue with a Waits/Weill production by Ictus.
