After having worked with saxophonist Akosh S. drummer Gildas Etevenard started playing with two musicians from the world of chanson and theatre music in Marseille in 2001. Two years later vocalist/cellist Jeanne Added joined, and the typical melc-sound was born. Loose pop-like songs, vaguely reminiscent of Robert Wyatt's work. Added has now been replaced by Emilie Lesbros, a singer who has worked in improvised music with people like Raymond Boni and Barre Phillips.
