Sean Bergin, a saxophonist of South-African origin, is a regular guest at the SummerJazzCycleTour. This time he performs in the company of Brazilian guitarist Rogério Bicudo. This spring they released a duo cd for the Pingo label. The two play regular gigs at the Amsterdam Bimhuis, but only in the bar. Their music is almost too intimate for the large stage. They play music from the heart: charming chôros from Rio de Janeiro and joyful kwela from Durban.
