All Greetje Bijma fans should come to Den Ham to discover Ute Wassermann. This German vocalist chirps, growls, whispers and yodels cheerfully away. She also specializes in bird calls. Violinist Aleksander Kolkowski is best known for his work in groups lead by Tristan Honsinger. Kolkowski is one of the unsung stars of Honsinger’s string quintet cd Map Of Moods (FMP). The British violinist also has some aberrations: the violinophone and the stroh cello, both instruments from the beginning of the previous century.
