The last Saturday in August sees the start of the 27th edition of the ZOMERJAZZFIETSTOUR (SummerJazzCycleTour). A beautiful route will take you through the Reitdiep valley, to the northwest of the city of Groningen, and offers you 26 concerts in medieval churches and farmers’ barns. The cycling fest offers a varied international programme with contemporary jazz and improvised music. We like to say that it’s a tried and tested concept of discovering new jazz on bike. For this musical outing in a beautiful part of the province of Groningen is gathering a growing number of jazz cyclists.
