For the fourth year the ICP Orchestra, Bik Bent Braam and Stichting dOeK supply the musicians to teach, work and play for a week at the Dutch Impro Academy. In the year that Han Bennink has turned 70 he can finally take things easy during the cycle tour. In previous years he had to race off to his next concert after his performance with the youngest generation of improvisers. This time he has plenty of time to react to the musical inventions of the participants of this extraordinary summer school.
