What would a harpsichord, a saxophone, a game controller and a ukulele be doing on a stage together? Luc Houtkamp offers us a new programme with his POW Ensemble. BoX of BriX consists of a box of bricks full of micro-compositions. By means of an ingenious system of visual and auditory signs the musicians indicate which elements are to be played. The result is a merry musical programme with melodious pieces of baroque music, jazz fragments and even a cowboy song, interspersed with improvisations and electronics.
