No one can play the guitar in such a relaxed way as Franky Douglas. He proved this on a windy Sunday in Oostum when he presented an anniversary programme with Wolter Wierbos. In the Garnwerd tent Franky Douglas can be heard with a super trio featuring the ingenious Ernst Reijseger on cello and the magnificent bass guitarist Lesley Joseph. They have been playing together for years, and in fact it is a condensed version of Douglas' own band Sunchild. Beware: Douglas/Reijseger/Joseph may easily raise the tent's roof.
