Reedist Gebhard Ullmann performed at the SummerJazzCycleTour before with his Clarinet Trio. He is active in many ensembles, including Basement Research, Tá Lam, Conference Call, Ullmann/Swell4. With BASSX3 Ullmann brings along his bass clarinet and two double bassists from Berlin. The American Chris Dahlgren and the Italian Antonio Borghini (who will be performing with Tristan Honsinger earlier in the afternoon) BASSX3 produces improvised chamber music, sometimes sounds like an orchestra, and at other moments like an intimate chamber music ensemble. A feast of harmonics in the excellent acoustic surroundings of the Feerwerd church.
